Author Bio

Josie Gilbert was born in West Sussex and has lived there ever since. She worked in a solicitor's office for almost twenty seven years. Following the retirement of her former boss and the merger of his practice with another one, she decided she needed a complete career change. For the last five years she has been working as a part-time secretary and during the summer is a guide at nearby Arundel Castle. She has also self-published two novels on Amazon - "McArthur's Country House Hotel" and "The Stuffed Giraffe's Head." She is currently working on a third novel and also a series of short ghost and horror stories. One of her short stories, "The Choirboy" was chosen as a winner in a competition run jointly by Chichester Independent Authors and the Chichester Observer. It has been included in their anthology, "Write Across Sussex" which is available on Amazon. Her other passion is photography.
